Drink a cup of coffee at the bar, find the dreamt vinyl, and shop the second hand cloth selection… All of this can be done at Walrus, an unique concept of a record shop and a bar at once, ran by Julie and Caroline.

This is Alban, co-owner of the Ground Zero record shop. He sells recent musics so mainly brand-new records can be found in his shop. On top of offering a spacious and nicely decorated space, the shop has got record racks placed on wheels so it can be easily turned into a concert place.

It’s in a tiny space that Quentin shares his discoveries, unearthed during his travels all over the world, constantly in quest for the best restitution of sound. Like an astronaut who goes on an assignment toward the unknown, his mission is to bring back new records for his customer’s enjoyment!

For Slimène, this is a life choice to run a record shop: this implies to always be in contact with people and to be in the continuous search for new vinyls, seven days a week. His shop allows him to keep meeting people and chat with them. This is essential for Slimène: « If we don’t meet each other anymore, there won’t be any more music. »

Manfred, manager of the Potemkine shop, guides and advices his clients, which is especially helpful for visitors less expert who could be impressed by the meticulous selection of movies. In addition, a collection of original soundtracks in vinyl format can be found in the back of the store next to a coffee tasting corner.
