DOCUMENTARY AND PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
Marina Chef is a French photographer born in 1988. She lives in Amsterdam and works between Amsterdam and Paris. With a Marketing Master degree from INSEEC Paris Business School, she started by working in digital communication for six years as a project manager. She then decided to make a career switch and head toward a more creative and meaningful job to her eyes. The decision of photography came to her naturally as she has always been photographing. She took several evening classes in photography, provided by the city of Paris: documentary, studio photography, Photoshop and Lightroom. She has decided to focus on documentary and portrait photography: taking pictures in the moment, observing what is happening around her, how people give a certain energy to a place at a given time. Being mainly inspired by what surrounds her, she also likes to bring her everyday life inspirations to the studio, creating singular atmospheres using accessories and artificial lights.
